Where do you guys stand on percussion?
Im a big fan of hand drums; bongos, congas, maracas, tambourine, cajones.
Not to say Im against regular drum kits with acoustics, but hand drums lend to that raw earthy sound.

I don't know much about percussion. That's always been some other guy's job as far as I'm concerned. Hahaha.

I like all precussion, but there is something about using your hands that appeals to me a little mre than sticks.

I always loved drums like that. Like in a drum circle, the cool earthy tribal sounds you hear. This reminds me, I always wanted bongo drums but I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find some without the animal skin heads. I also always liked those different types of flutes, like the kind with the what looks like hollow bamboo sticks tied together in a line with the short ones going over to the long ones. And xylophones seem interesting, and after I do the standard guitar bass drums I think I'll get a saxophone. Ok ALL instruments.

the flute thing your talking about is a lyre or "Pan Pipe" popularly depicted as being invented and played by the faun like nature god Pan.
