Anyone ever played around with any home made instruments?

Things like spoons, cajone, wash tub bass, blown bottles?

I always thought it would be fun to craft something but seems there are never enough hours in the day.
I know there are a lot of tutorials and instruction pages out there on crafting them, so feel free to share your experiences, maybe even make some videos of your own to share.

I tried spoons once. couldnt tell if ivwas any good.

I always loved to play around with the spoons when I was little but i never got anywhere. Love that spoon solo in Spoonman though.

I just remember learning the most simple way to play them so it's not like I could really play them, I just liked putting them back to back between my fingers and banging them on my knee
