I tried taking a non western music class a couple of years back and ended up dropping the class. It was surprising how much detail does go into native and indigenous music. I think most people assume it is simple music when really it does have a structure that can be somewhat complex in composition.

Yeah, Im most familiar with the Native Flute which is only vaguely similar to the European style flute.
